Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to use the repair shop my insurance company recommends?
No. In California, you have the legal right to choose any auto body shop for your repairs. Insurance companies may suggest a “preferred” shop, but the final decision is entirely yours.
What’s The Cost for an Estimate?
At J&J Auto Body, we provide initial estimates as a courtesy to our customers. All estimates are prepared by our professional staff to ensure accuracy. If additional estimates or revisions are needed, there may be a small fee — our team will always let you know upfront. To receive an estimate, simply complete our online form or bring your vehicle to our shop. Our team will assess the damage and provide a detailed breakdown of the necessary repairs
What is the difference between OEM and aftermarket parts?
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts are made by your vehicle’s manufacturer. Aftermarket parts are made by a third party. We work with you and your insurance provider to ensure the best parts are used for a safe and high-quality repair.
Can you help me get a rental car?
Yes. We can help coordinate a rental car for you. If your insurance policy includes rental coverage, we can often arrange for the rental agency to meet you at our shop when you drop off your vehicle upon request.
What should I do if my car is not drivable?
If your vehicle is unsafe to drive after an accident, don’t worry — just give us a call. We work with trusted local towing companies and can arrange to have your vehicle brought directly to our shop.
